Karen Carroll

Karen runs the Amersham Osteopathic Clinic, Buckinghamshire, UK as well as being Consultant at the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy / Osteopathic Centre for Children Clinic, London, UK. Karen has been involved with the OCC for 30 years, starting at the clinic shortly after her graduation from the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy.

Karen teaches Post Graduate Paediatric Osteopathy in the UK, Europe and South America. She is a member of the SCCO faculty and teaches on the Biobasics UK courses. Karen is Chair of the SCCO research subcommittee and has an interest in how we can further the evidence base for osteopathic support of patients, drawing on the traditions of observation, pragmatism and qualitative research.

Karen has completed the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy Modular Pathway as well as the Biodynamic Osteopathy phases 1 – 9 and Treatment of Children modules. Karen is particularly interested in the osteopathic treatment of children, pregnant and post partum mums, as well as in bringing together all aspects of osteopathic treatment to most benefit the patient’s healing and well being.
